The Federal Highway Administration and the NYS Department of Transportation (DOT) want to build multiple ramps on Porter Avenue in order to alter the routes for truck traffic entering and exiting the Peace Bridge.
The DOT is holding a public hearing to hear from the public, especially West Side residents, on June 11th at the D’Youville College Center (329 Porter Avenue), at two different times:
3-5 PM with a presentation at 4 PM, OR
6-8 PM with a presentation at 7 PM
Come if you want to learn more about how this project will affect our community, our air quality, health, and safety, and what it has to do with the Peace Bridge Plaza Expansion Plans.
Can’t make the meeting? Comments are being accepted until July 11th. Call Natasha at 852-3813 if you would like more information.
