Councilmen Golombek has issued a formal call to President Obama to look into the situation and foggy ethics surrounding the issues currently plaguing the Peace Bridge and the communities surrounding it. If you have the time, here are a few things you can do to facilitate his petition:

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA1) Write a letter to the President. While this may seem like a pointless activity as one of 320+ million American citizens, I assure that someone, somewhere in the White House will read or at least skim your letter and perhaps even pass it up the food chain to the President himself.

2) On a similar note, write a110125_kirsten_gillibrand_fashion_283_ap_regular letter to Senator Gillibrand of NY. She is usually an avid supporter of citizens’ rights and the fair treatment of communities. She likes underdogs and knows how to play hardball when it is appropriate. If you have the time to write to her or stop at her Buffalo office then do it! It never hurts to speak up.

If you need more information on Golombek’s request then the article below will help. If you need help finding addresses or phone numbers then let us know and we can help locate such things. Keep up the great work!
